Megan Hendrickson was raised in Gifu, Japan, and later in Corvallis, Oregon. She came to Chicago in 2008 to study opera and received her Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Professional Diploma in Opera from Roosevelt University, where she wrote the weekly Voice Department Newsletter. She was a Young Artist at Chicago Opera Theater for several seasons and has sung professionally both regionally and globally. She is currently a Regular Chorus Member with the Chicago Symphony Chorus. Megan has spent most of her life singing in the church. She was the Soprano Choral Scholar at First Presbyterian Church in Arlington Heights for seven years. After many years of experience in administrative work, Megan started working at the Presbytery of Chicago in 2020. She lives in Morton Grove with her husband Adam and two children, Lily and David.
