The next Stated Meeting for the Presbytery of Chicago Assembly will be Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM.  The meeting will be at Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Lane, Naperville, IL.

We continue growing in our ability to hold Assembly Meetings in a hybrid format, meaning you can participate in person or online, using Zoom.

Our theme for this meeting is “Walking Humbly” – following the text chosen by Moderator Jim Davidovich, from Micah 6:8.

We are inviting presbyters to come as early as 2 PM, to walk a labyrinth, which will be set up by church artists especially for this meeting, following our Walk Humbly theme.

Please note the following in connection with this November 19, 2024, Assembly meeting:

• Pre-registration is requested  – Click HERE to register.   Please indicate if you will be staying for the evening meal at the church.
• A map and directions to Knox Naperville can be found here on their website.
• Sign-in and name badge pick up begins at 2:00 PM.  Come early and walk the labyrinth.
• Childcare/family-member care vouchers are available here.

Features during this gathering will include:

• Worship interviews – sharing the meaning of walking humbly.
• Review and action on proposed amendments to the PC(USA) Constitution as proposed by the 226^thGeneral Assembly.
• Action on the 2025 Presbytery budget.
• Conversations on Christian Zionism – and how we can discuss this complex matter in congregations.
• An evening meal catered by a local restaurant – cost covered by the Presbytery of Chicago, using the generous per capita contributions from your congregations.

An email notice will be sent out by November 12, 2024, with instructions on downloading the Meeting Packet from our website. The Meeting Packet will contain the Docket and Reports for this meeting; the Docket will also be distributed at the meeting. An Orientation Video will be sent out just prior to the meeting.
