We give thanks to God for the workshops to train Ruling Elders and Deacons of the Hispanic Latino Churches in the Chicago Presbytery. We are very grateful to the Vida Nueva Presbyterian Church in Chicago, who welcomed us with much love and hospitality, where their Pastor, Rev. Jefferson Caldeira led the opening devotional. We thank Rev. Elías Cabarcas, Pastor of the New Worship Community Día Nuevo in Hanover Park, for giving the workshop for Ruling Elders the Rev. José E. Muñiz, Pastor of the Clement Presbyterian Church in Cicero, for giving the workshop for Deacons. We also give thanks to the Presbytery of Chicago for their prayers and financial support to be able to carry out these workshops and other events throughout the year.
